PAJAMA DAY

The kids had a blast wearing their pajamas to school last Friday! I loved seeing their expressions when they saw what their friends were wearing. I hope they were able to tell you why we had "Pajama Day". I look forward to more dress-up days throughout the year.
We sure had a busy day today! We have started one of my favorite parts of the creation unit - people - and there's always so much to do! Plus, we were learning about Johnny Appleseed. We had to make time for our apple relay race and could not forget to taste and graph our favorite kind of apple. Thanks to all for sending in your apples.

FUN AT THE FAIR

Well, I knew we were all in for a great day! The kids were bubbling over with anticipation of their first kindergarten field trip and it was a wonderful experience. I would like to again thank everyone for driving and helping to keep up with our precious group while we moved from place to place. Your help made my job much easier and a little less worrisome!

The students will be journaling about their fair trip and I look forward to hearing what they enjoyed most. I thought that "Bo", the camel, was pretty awesome myself!

We are having fun!

We are learning about creation this first quarter and have had lots of fun talking about plants. We made some sugar cookies and decorated them to be land with grass, flowers and plants! They sure were yummy! We have even planted our own seeds. The kids are watching closely to see if they will sprout.

I realize daily how creative my Shining Stars are as I watch them during "tub time" and free play. See what I mean?
